Pro Showcase 2024

Kumlin Recruiting, NSSA Denmark and Freddie Academy are extremely excited to announce our Recruiting Pro Showcase this summer 2024.

We will be hosting a soccer tour where top college players on both the male and female side will get a chance to showcase themselves in front of professional Scandinavian teams. Two recruiting companies that have provided a great number of Swedish and Danish top players to top NCAA programs including All-Americans, MLS-draft picks and current pro-players for the last decade are now joining forces with this project. The showcase will be organized and ran by Freddie Academy, one of Scandinavia’s biggest training companies specializing in individual player development. Since 2019, Freddie Academy has trained over 1000 players, ranging from grassroots to top academy prospects and professional footballers.

After providing the very best Scandinavian players to top programs in the college game, we believe it is time to create a platform for pro clubs in Denmark and Sweden to scout top college players. So they can benefit from the great talents coming out of college, both american players and international player, and give the NCAA alumni an opportunity to continue playing the sport they love at a professional level.

Through over a decade of college recruitment working with Scandinavian top players both NSSA and Kumlin Recruiting have developed connections with the Danish and Swedish professional clubs. The interest in college players are rising each year because of the increasing quality of US players.

We will do our best to make sure each club understands the individual player’s personal situation and provide all the information needed to the club to figure out if there is a potential match. The showcase will take place in Prioritet Serneke Arena, a premium sports complex located in Gothenburg, Sweden. From the 1st to the 14th of August, players will live, eat and train inside the facility surrounded by a professional environment to simulate the elite club experience. During this period, you will get the opportunity to get scouted by coaches from clubs all over Scandinavia looking to sign players for their team. Throughout the showcase, you will: - Play two to four 11-a-side games during weekends with coaches watching. - Train every weekday morning with Freddie Academy coaches under FA methodology (see more info on Freddie Academy International Program brochure). - Get three to four gym sessions a week where we work on football-oriented exercises. - Potentially train with local Swedish clubs in the afternoons (determined on a case-by-case basis).
